Congratulations Katherine and Giles
Friday 1st May saw the big day of Katherine and Giles at Herons Farm.
Katherine looked beautiful in her traditional full length gown as she walked down the isle to meet her eagerly awaiting groom in his navy blue suit.
After a lovey ceremony the newly weds and their guests went out to the gardens for prosecco and canapes. After which the bride and groom ventured eagerly on to the bouncy castle. After the fun on the castle the bride and groom were driven down to our beautiful valley to take some stunning photos.
The barn was decorated with beautiful spring flowers and colourful bunting and with it a beautifully decorated naked cake.
The wedding breakfast saw guests tucking in to Prime Roasted ‘Orchard Reared Berkshire Hog’ with Sage & Onion Stuffing, cooked in Pork Juices. Accompanied by Kilner Jars of Sauces, Relishes and Chutneys, Roasted New Potatoes in Virgin Oil, Thyme, Garlic & Maldon, Buttered Chunky Leeks with Butter, Rainbow Carrot, Green Beans & Asparagus in Yellow Courgette Ribbon, Wild Honey & Balsamic Roast Parsnips.
Gooey Double Chocolate Brownie, Salted Caramel, Cornish Clotted Cream & Chocolate Sauce.
Guests praised the chefs with ‘the food was excellent’ and ‘best food I’ve had’.
After the speeches the bride and groom cut their cake while their guests gathered round then went on in to a loving first dance. After the the couple invited the rest if their guests to join them on the dance floor they were ready to dance the night away.
