Helen & Steve 19/06/15

19th June 2015 brought the breathtaking wedding of Helen and Steve.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends the couples marriage was blessed on a beautiful summers day. After the ceremony the guests flowed on to the lawn to be greeted by chilled jam jars of Pimms, perfect for the hot weather. Delicious canapés of Diddy Angus Beef & Cheddar Burger, Spicy Chilli Jam. Diddy Cornish Pasty, Tomato, Rosemary & Fennel Seed Chutney. Toad in the Hole, English Mustard & Jus. Mini Corn Fed Chicken & Smoked Bacon Caesar were served on boards and slates for the hungry guests.


After mingling with their guests the bride and groom headed down to the valley to take some beautiful photos and enjoy some much needed time alone together. Upon returning to the barn Helen and Steve were announced in as the new Mr & Mrs in a chorus of cheers and applause. Once everyone had taken their seats the wedding breakfast was served…

Traditional Greek Salad, Marinated Olives, Tomato & Caramelised Lemon

Pesto, Parmesan & Rocket Fusilli

Char Grilled Halloumi Salad, Roasted Orange & Peppercorn

Rustic Breads and Butters

Followed by delicious plates of Chocolate Crème Brulee and Strawberries & Cream which were eagerly devoured.


Soon after this amazing feast the processco was poured for the speeches, calming the nerves of the best man and groom. Once the speeches were done the bride and groom headed back outside to enjoy the rest of the evening sun and some garden games on the lawn. After the evening guests had arrived the bride and groom treated them to the cutting of the cake followed by a loving first dance. After inviting the rest of their guests to join them on the dance floor everyone enjoyed a night of drinking, eating and general merry making!
