Cheers and laughter could be heard coming from Herons barn on Sat 23rd May as Frances and Matt walked down the aisle as the new Mr and Mrs Pearce.

Guests flowed out onto the beautiful lawns to enjoy chilled glasses of prosecco and delicious canapes of….

Diddy Angus Beef & Cheddar Burger, Spicy Chilli Jam

Confit Pork Belly Cube, Celeriac Remoulade & Bramley Puree

Oak Smoked Salmon Blini, Crème Fraiche & Fresh Dill Oil

Lemon & Pepper Hummus, Herb Toast & Aubergine Caviar

All served on rustic boards and slates.

Guests Played croquet, boules and even a spot of cricket before the wedding breakfast was served.

The barn looked simply gorgeous with pretty pompoms, lanterns and stunning summer flowers.

Pink striped paper bags were tucked into pockets for a sweet treat later on in the evening, where everyone was surprised by a pick n mix buffet.

Kilner Jars of Chicken Liver & Cognac Parfait, Red Onion, Star Anise & Thyme Jam… Mini Brioche Loaf ,were just the beginning of their delicious bespoke wedding breakfast menu.

Followed by..

Whole Roasted Sirloin of Black Beef, Duo Of Sauces.

Garlic Dauphinoise & Dishes of Green vegetables tossed in Salsa Verdi

*Creamy 3 Peppercorn Sauce & Rich Pinot Noir Sticky Jus*

“Amazing, hats off too the chefs!, absolutely delicious”, were just a few of the comments  flying around the dining room

Chantilly Cream Filled Choux Pillows, White & Dark Chocolate Sauce… Butterscotch Glaze & Dipped Strawberries, drew this amazing feast to end.


Frances and Matt later enjoyed time alone in the valley having photos in the evening sun, before returning to treat every one to their first dance and cutting of the cake
