On the hottest day of the year Wednesday 5th June Catriona and Joe were wed at Herons Farm

The couple made their vows to each other in front of their daughters, family and friends, in a beautiful ceremony within the barn.

Chilled pimms awaited them under the oak tree in the garden, along with a huge bouncy castle and garden games.

Being walked around amongst the guests were delicious canapés…

Chicory Leaves Filled with Roquefort & Marinated Pear, Walnut Praline, Speciality Butchers Sausages Tossed in Wild Honey, Sage and Grain Mustard, Baby Mozzarella, Sweet Basil, Cherry Tomato Brochettes, Basil Dressing, Diddy Angus Beef & Cheddar Burger, Spicy Chilli Jam.

Guests were invited to take their seats in the barn, decorated beautifully with pretty jugs of flowers and small jars of honey favours for the guests. The bride and groom were announced in to the barn and the wedding breakfast was served…

Once this amazing feast had finished, Commented on by Guests as “The best lamb they have ever eaten” everyone headed back outside to stretch their legs and enjoy the summer sun. The evening bought the cutting of the cake which was followed soon after by a loving first dance. After being joined by the rest of their guests on the dance floor everyone was ready to dance the night away!
