All was glittering and sparkly on Friday 18th Sept when Laura and Simon were married at Herons Farm,
After beautiful words were shared during the ceremony the brides sisters sang throughout the register signing, a lovely personal touch to the proceedings.
Then it was down the aisle as Mr and Mrs Evens! suitable showered in confetti the drinks and canapés began to flow…

Spoon of confit duck spring onion cucumber ribbons and hoisin
Oak smoked salmon blini, crème fraiche & fresh dill oil
Walnut scone, melted Brie and apple chutney
Of down to the valley on the golf buggy the bride and groom spent time happily having couple photos
While guests were shown to their seats.
The barn itself was stunningly decorated in gold, glitter and sparkly bits, white feathers dipped in glitter showed guests were to sit and small keys with luggage tags enabled everyone to share a message with the happy couple, a lovely keep sake!
The wedding breakfast began with the speeches toasted with prosecco and shots of homemade elderflower gin, which went down very well!
The meal bought great camaraderie amongst all ‘Pie Master’
A guest from each table donning a chef hat, wooden spoon and apron along with a stick on moustache is the chosen one to serve the rest of the table a great feast of pie, dauphinois potato’s and vegetable,this bought much laughter to the room.

‘Best pie ever tasted’ , ‘the most amazing wedding food’ along with huge thanks and praise by all guest on what an amazing wedding breakfast they had all received.
Following tea and coffee in the courtyard it was time to cut the cake and enjoy the 1st dance
A night of dancing was enjoyed by all, while bacon and sausage baps finished of a fabulous day.
