Following a Church service at St Nicolas in Sulham on Saturday 8th of August 2015, Joanie and Oliver along with guests made their way to us at Herons farm for their wedding reception, they were welcomed by lashings of ice cold Presecco and bottled beer along with an assortment of wonderful canapes…

Confit Pork Belly Cube, Celeriac Remoulade & Bramley Puree 

 Chorizo & Scallop with Roasted Lime

 Parma Ham Wrapped Quail Egg, Tarragon Hollandaise & Celery Salt 

 Chicken Liver & Fois Gras Parfait, Wholemeal Toast & Chutney 

 Chicory Leaves Filled With Roquefort & Marinated Pear, Walnut Praline

Photos were snapped in the glorious sunshine, before all were called to dinner.

The barn had been beautifully decorated with hand made bunting and simple but very elegant table flowers of lavender

As Guests stood to cheer in the the new Mr and Mrs Pennel, the dinner began with a welcome speech, more speeches were to continue between courses of the meal.

A spectacular 3 course wedding breakfast was served, Wows and compliments filled the barn, to start….

 Baskets of French Bread… salted butter

12-hour slow cooked fragrant lamb Malaysian Curry…

Cooked with Coconut milk, tomato, fresh Coriander & ginger… Shredded spring onions & carrot ribbons…

 Served with Bamboo skewered Chicken satay fillets

 Lightly spiced Asian Style Slaw

 White Boiled Rice lightly Coconut infused

The couples wedding cake served with fresh fruit.

Out in the garden laughter could be heard as the barn was transformed for dancing,

Moonraker discos provided the evening entertainment which was enjoyed by all until the early hours
