On the 9th of August 2015 on a beautiful summers morning Alex an Kevin, in front of family and friends became Mr and Mrs Hood

Following the ceremony guests threw confetti and gathered on the lawn for a lovely group photo…one to treasure for the album!!

Canapes and prosecco were served in the garden…

Mini Corn fed Chicken & Smoked Bacon Caesar

Diddy ‘Sheppard’s’ Pie Tartlet… with Mature Cheddar Gratin

Sun-blushed tom & parmesan straws

Mature cheddar & chive soufflé tarts

and wonderful relaxed atmosphere filled the air as guest enjoyed the sun chatting amongst each other.

The barn was colourfully laden with bunting and  paper lanterns, and gorgeous little wooden boxes with flowers made the tables look fabulous.

Much love had also gone into the hand made table clothes, made from hessian and lace ( the hessian I was told had been carefully bought back from the tobacco farm back home in south Africa, hence the lovely authentic smell it carried)

A last minute change of plan before dinner meant speeches first, a very good idea to calm those nerves!!!

Then the bbq feast was served…

Guests were offered tea and coffee served in vintage china and a sweet cart of old retro favourite’s provided by Izzy pops vintage crockery hire.

Then everyone making their way home in the early evening.
